Responsible for advancing the practice of community policing by the nation's state, local, territorial, and tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources.

office on violence against women

The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) funds police departments, sheriffs' offices, and other law enforcement professionals to respond to the crimes of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. OVW technical assistance providers also offer trainings, toolkits, and other resources to assist law enforcement. OVW encourages all members of the law enforcement community to take advantage of OVW's resources, apply for grants, attend trainings, and contact them with any questions.
