Jennifer Fahey has been working for the past twenty-five years in law and policy for governments and non-profits. She presently works in the child welfare field representing children who have been victims of abuse and neglect. Her legal areas of expertise include Indian law, criminal law, and child welfare law. Ms. Fahey also works in the criminal justice arena, providing training and technical assistance to local, state, federal, and tribal jurisdictions nationwide. For many years she has worked to promote jurisdictional collaboration to improve outcomes for people involved in the court system. She is the primary author of the recently published Joint Jurisdictional Courts: a Manual for Developing Tribal, Local, State & Federal Justice Collaborations. Ms. Fahey holds a law degree from Hamline University School of Law and a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government.
