Theater & Performance Colloquium

Welcome!

The study of drama provokes conversations across historical periods, literary traditions, and artistic media, inviting a range of theoretical approaches and disciplinary orientations. This colloquium provides a forum for these discussions, drawing together students and faculty from national literature and area studies programs as well as other departments, within Harvard and beyond. The colloquium also offers an opportunity to develop research in dramatic literature, dramatic criticism and theory, theater history, theater practice, and performance studies. Meetings consist of graduate student presentations, faculty lectures, and field trips. An archive of past events is available here.

We welcome students from all departments. Please email Sarah or Eunice to be added to our mailing list.
