• Students may be dropped off at 8:45 am and enter through the BACK doors next to the cafeteria.

• Pull up to the last door before dropping your student off.

• For the safety of your child please do not pick up or drop your child in the parking lot in the front of the school or to the sides of the school or soccer field.

• ALL parent pickups should be in the back of the school.

• If you are late for pick up, it is necessary to park in the visitor spots in the front of the school, enter the front office, show your ID and pick up your child.

• All walkers, car riders, and bike riders MUST have a permission form on file.

• Se puede dejar a los estudiantes a las 8:45 am y entrar por las puertas traseras al lado de la cafetería.

This fall, the Gwinnett County Board of Education will go on the road, meeting once in each Board member’s district. At this year’s Area Board Meetings attendees will have the opportunity to meet Gwinnett County Public Schools’ new superintendent, Dr. Calvin J. Watts, and members of the Gwinnett County Board of Education. During the meeting, Dr. Watts will share information about the new school year and his focus as he begins leading Georgia’s largest school district. In addition, meeting participants will learn more about the district’s work to engage the community and will be able to provide input through an online survey to share topics that are of interest to them.

Please note that interpreters will be available at all meetings to assist participants who speak Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, or Chinese.

Este otoño, la Junta de Educación del Condado de Gwinnett saldrá de gira y se reunirá una vez en el distrito de cada miembro de la Junta. En las reuniones de la Junta de Área de este año, los asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de conocer al nuevo superintendente de las Escuelas Públicas del Condado de Gwinnett, el Dr. Calvin J. Watts, y miembros de la Junta de Educación del Condado de Gwinnett. Durante la reunión, el Dr. Watts compartirá información sobre el nuevo año escolar y su enfoque a medida que comienza a liderar el distrito escolar más grande de Georgia. Students staying after school must wait until ALL buses are called before heading to the gym.

We're trying something new. Teachers will be preparing videos to introduce themselves and their classes, which you will be able to watch online. During Curriculum Night, each team will have Q&A sessions in which you can ask your further questions for clarification. Look for links to be published here in a future issue of the Blue Devil Blast!

Parents, ask your students if they're earning Blue Bucks. Ask them about how they can earn Blue Bucks. Find out from your child how these PBIS Blue Bucks work, then remind them:

• Students must have a pass before coming to the PBIS store

• On Monday-Thursday, students must have ALL cash or a combination of cash AND blue bucks to make purchases

• Thank you for being Respectful, Responsible, Role models!
