Welcome back to in-person learning for the 2021-2022 School Year. Summerour Middle School faculty and staff are excited to have your children back in the building for this school year. Please reach out to your child's teachers with questions or concerns you have.
Sign Off on School Documents!
Parents, did you sign up for a My Payments Plus account? We really need every parent to have an account.
While you can use My Payments Plus to make payments, what we really need is for each of you to log on and sign off on beginning of the year school documents! Get in there today and get everything signed off. We really appreciate it.
Do you need to see your child's grades? Attendance habits? Fines? Books checked out?
Parent Portal is your solution. Come to the school, fill out an application, and get logged in.

If you signed up for an account in the past, but never activated it, contact Mickey Stanfield and request a new token be sent.(no need to fill out a new application unless you are changing the email address on the account)
Have you applied for free or reduced lunches, yet?
You need to make this application every year. We encourage you to make application even if you didn't qualify last year. Requirements and home circumstances often change, it may be that you qualify this year.

Athletics are back for the 2021-2022 school year. Our basketball and cheerleading coaches have been announced and schedules are coming soon. Check the Athletics page on our school website to keep up with the information as it is disseminated.
Clubs are also back for the 2021-2022 school year. We are still finalizing leadership of some clubs, but the list of offerings is on the school website on our Clubs page.
The first standardized test of the year is always the CogAT test, administered only to 8th graders. This year's window is from September 27 to October 15. Exact dates will be determined and advertised in advance.
The mid-semester learning checks (interims) will be conducted from September 27 through October 15, also. Exact dates will be forthcoming as we approach the testing window.
