Service Learning Models in Peer Leadership
Local schools can choose from three service-learning models that allow students to serve their communities in meaningful ways:
1. Local School Support
Students focus their efforts on supporting their own school community through direct service and leadership roles.
Activities and Roles:
Office support and aides
Leading school tours
Mentoring peers
Tutoring fellow students
Serving as student ambassadors
Participating in school-specific projects and events
2. Cluster School Support
Students collaborate across schools within their cluster to provide leadership and support where it’s most needed.
Activities and Roles:
Providing leadership training to cluster schools
Assisting teachers as aides in cluster schools
Supporting cluster-wide initiatives and projects
Facilitating inter-school student collaboration
3. Local School & Cluster Support
Students divide their time between serving their local school and contributing to cluster-wide efforts, balancing roles in both settings.

Delivering leadership training at cluster schools
Tutoring students at their local school
Mentoring peers
Supporting local school projects and events
Participating in cluster-wide initiatives and collaborations
