Lead school tours for new students and families
Serve as “welcome buddies” for students transitioning mid-year
Help introduce new students to classroom routines, lunch procedures, and recess rules
Create welcome packets with schedules, maps, and fun facts about the school
Pair with new students for the first week to answer questions and offer support

Assist younger students with math facts, spelling words, and reading fluency
Support small group activities during centers or enrichment time
Partner with teachers to help prep classroom materials
