In The Johnson Literacy Studio, students are more than learners - they are readers, writers, thinkers, collaborators, and communicators. Every lesson is designed to challenge students academically while building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for literacy. Through engaging instruction, meaningful discussions, authentic writing experiences, and collaborative learning, students develop the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Strengthening Skills & Expanding Thinking

Seventh grade challenges students to move beyond understanding text to analyzing it. Students examine multiple perspectives, evaluate evidence, strengthen written arguments, and become increasingly independent thinkers. Collaboration, discussion, and critical thinking become essential components of learning.
