Goals: 

• Research your disease. Before you can even do this, you need to formulate a list of questions that you should answer in your research. Use the biology rubric to help you with this.
• Then research. Take notes. This should take you about 30 minutes.
• Build a model. The model should represent how the affected enzyme would normally function.  Refer to the rubric for more specific details on what should be included in your model.
• Later in your presentation, you will use your model to explain how the enzyme deficiency leads to disease. (1-2 minutes)
