3D AP Portfolio Exam Requirements

Selected Works (Quality)  -  (40% of score)

5 physical works or high quality printed reproduction of physical works that each demonstrates synthesis of materials, processes, and ideas using drawing or 3D art and design skills. Sustained Investigation projects may be used.  These are your best works!

Writing prompts:  

• Ideas visually evident  (100 characters / spaces max)

• Materials used  (100 characters / spaces max)

• Processes used  (100 characters / spaces max)

Sustained Investigation  -  (60% of score)

15 digital images of works of art and process documentation that demonstrates Sustained Investigation through practice, experimentation, and revision.

Writing prompts:

• Identify the questions that guided your Sustained Investigation.

• Describe how your Sustained Investigation shows evidence of practice, experimentation, and revision guided by your questions.  (1200 characters / spaces)
