In accordance with Arkansas Code Ann. §6-16-149, Arkansas students are required to take a United States “Civics Exam.” The exam is composed of questions found on the United States Citizenship Exam for persons seeking to become naturalized citizens. Fayetteville Virtual Academy Seniors may take the civics exam beginning December 5th. The test will be proctored at Fayetteville Virtual Academy.
Students are required to correctly answer at least sixty (60) of the one hundred (100) online test questions and may take the test as many times as necessary to achieve the passing score. Passing the US Civics Exam is required by law for high school graduation in Arkansas.
