FVA Students in grades 4 - 8 will complete the second ACT Interim Assessment on November 28th. Please plan to have your child at FVA from 8:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Guided Study is an optional time for students to come in and work with the assistance and support of their teachers.
Parents may drop their children off any time between 8:30 and 11:00 a.m., and are expected to pick their children up by 12:00 p.m., on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students will have a break from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m., for physical activity and socializing.
Students who stay for clubs on Tuesdays and Thursdays will take a lunch break from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. Lunches are not provided. Students need to bring a sack lunch. Following lunch, students will have a 30 minute recess before starting their club activities.
There is no sign-up requirement for students to attend. We hope to see you there!

Do you like expressing yourself through artforms like dance, music, or drawing? Are you a big fan of music, movies, or plays? Thisclub will be devoted to creating, learning about, and appreciating all kinds of art and culture. Join us on Tuesday, September 4 for a fun activity and to brainstorm ideas.
Alternating Thursdays: Sports & Games (Mr. Wilson & Mr Harris)
This club will be devoted to everything from checkers to lacrosse. Do you like the challenge of learning new games? Do you like a little friendly competition? Join S&G on every other Thursday
Alternating Thursdays: Science & Nature (Ms. Green)
Examine the natural world, solve engineering puzzles, create scientific solutions, and more. In S&N, kids will explore the wonderful world of science through activities and experiments.
The National Honors Society of the Fayetteville High School will be available for tutoring for grades first through ninth in all subjects. We request that the student brings homework, worksheet, or paper to work on. All tutoring is on a first come, first served basis and is located in the back of the children's library at the tables.
This program is free and will take place between 4 and 6 pm each Tuesday and Thursday.
