To connect the Gear 360 to your phone, install the Samsung Gear 360 app for Android or Gear 360 app for iOS.

Pair your phone with the Gear 360, using Wi-Fi, to control the camera.

Turn on the Gear 360.

Press and hold the Menu key.

For Android devices, when Connect to Android appears on the camera status screen, press the OK key. For iOS devices, press the Menu key again, and when Connect to iOS appears on the camera status screen, press the OK key.

When the Gear 360 and your phone are connected, the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi icon will appear on the camera status screen.

Mobile device

Launch the Samsung Gear 360 app on your phone.

Tap CONNECT TO GEAR 360.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.

Disconnecting the Gear 360

On your phone, open the Samsung Gear app, click the Menu and select Disconnect.

To reconnect the Gear 360, tap CONNECT on the Samsung Gear 360 app screen of the mobile device.

Notice for using Bluetooth

To avoid problems when connecting your Gear 360 to any device, place the devices close to each other, within the Bluetooth connection range of approximately 10m. Ensure that there are no obstacles between the Gear 360 and the device.

Notice for using Wi-Fi

Use your Gear 360 and the device within the specified connection range of approximately 5m.

Ensure that there are no obstacles between the Gear 360 and the device. The transfer time may take longer depending on the Wi-Fi connection status and file size.
