IELTSとは？

IELTSは、ブリティッシュ・カウンシルが中心となって運営している、世界を代表する英語検定試験の一つです。日本では、日本英語検定協会やJSAFが運営しています。

TOEFLと比較すると、筆記試験（ライティングを含む）が手書きで、スピーキングが対面式なのが特徴です。

なお、IELTSにはアカデミック・モジュールとジェネラル・トレーニング・モジュールがありますが、留学の際に使われるのは基本的に前者です。

HSKとは？

中国語検定とも呼ばれるHSKは中国の教育部直属の機関である「孔子学院总部/国家汉办」が主催し、中国政府公認の中国語検定資格です。受験レベルは、初級の1級から上級の6級まで6段階に分けられています。中国現地大学で中国語で授業を受けたい場合は5級または6級を取得する必要があります。試験内容は、聴解、読解、作文（3級以上のみ）の三部です。別途で口頭試験も受けられますが、それは必須ではありません。

HSK is a Chinese language test approved by the Chinese government, sponsored by Confucius Gakuin/Kokusai, an institution directly under the Chinese Ministry of Education. There are six levels of the exam. If you want to take a class in Chinese at a local Chinese university, you must take level 5 or 6. The exam consists of three parts: listening comprehension, reading comprehension and composition (Grade 3 and above only). You can take an oral exam separately, but it is not a requirement.

TOPIKとは？

韓国語能力試験とも呼ばれるTOPIKは、韓国文化の理解及び留学などの学術的性格に必要な能力の測定・評価を目的とします。評価等級はTOPIKⅠ（初級）とTOPIKⅡ（中級・上級）に分けられて、TOPIKⅠは１〜２級、TOPIKⅡは３〜６級を含みます。３級が日常生活を問題なく過ごせるレベル、５級が専門分野においての研究や業務の必要に応じてある程度韓国語の理解と使用ができるレベルです。試験内容はTOPIKⅠの場合には聞取り（20分）と読解（40分）、TOPIKⅡの場合には聞取り（60分）、書取り（50分）と読解（70分）に構成されています。

TOPIK evaluates the abilities required for academic characteristics such as understanding Korean culture and studying in Korea. Levels are divided into TOPIK I (beginner) and TOPIK II (intermediate and advanced). TOPIK I includes grades 1-2 and TOPIK II includes grades 3-6. Grade 3 is means being able to live daily life without any problems, and Grade 5 means being able to understand and use Korean to some extent for research and work in a specialized field. Exam is composed of listening (20 min) and reading (40 min) for TOPIK I, and listening (60 min), writing (50 min) and reading (70 min) for TOPIK II.

DELEとは？

スペイン語検定とも呼ばれるDELEは、世界100カ国以上で実施されているスペイン語の能力を測る検定試験で、スペイン語圏への留学・就職の際の語学レベルを証明として、国際的に認められている資格です。日本国内でも、スペイン語の単位認定に活用している大学や、業務上の必須資格としている企業もあります。試験内容は読解、文章表現(西作文)、文法・語彙、聞き取り、口頭試験(面接)を含みます。

試験は年２回（5月、7月）ですが、東京会場のみ、11月にも試験があります。

DELE is an internationally recognized Spanish proficiency test conducted in more than 100 countries, used for studying or finding a job in a Spanish-speaking country. In Japan, some universities use it Spanish course credit certification, and there are companies that use it as a business requirement. The contents of the exam include reading comprehension, writing, grammar and vocabulary, listening, and oral exams (interviews).

The exam is held twice a year (May and July), but only in Tokyo, there will be an additional exam in November.

GOETHE-ZERTIFIKATとは？

留学に向けてドイツ語の語学力を証明する場合、ゲーテ・インスティテュートが実施するドイツ語検定試験(GOETHE-ZERTIFIKAT)を用いる場合が多いです。英語の試験と同じように４つのセクション(読み・聞き・書き・会話)に分かれています。
