The University of Tokyo is home to students from all over the world. The Institute for Innovation in International Engineering Education (IIIEE) at the Graduate School of Engineering offers a unique space for intercultural experiences and multilingual exchanges, taking full advantage of this diverse environment. Every Friday during an academic semester, Japanese students, international students, and staff gather during lunch to engage in conversations on a variety of topics in multiple languages, including English and Japanese. No need to worry if you don’t have a specific topic in mind—our facilitators (Language Assistants) are there to help guide the conversation. Whether you're looking to enjoy a multilingual atmosphere, learn about other cultures, or meet new people from different backgrounds, this is a great opportunity. No reservation is required, so feel free to drop by!
