プリンストン大学の日本語学習者と協力して、様々なタスクに取り組むプロジェクト型の授業です。授業は講義、国際コミュニケーション演習、そして成果発表の3部構成で展開されます。授業での使用言語は英語ですが、プリンストン大学の学生と交流する時には日本語と英語両方を使用します。国境や学問の枠を超えた交流を通じて、世界で活躍するために必要な語学力と異文化コミュニケーション能力を養います。さらに、国と国の表層的な比較に留まらない、多様性に焦点を当てたプロジェクトを行うことで、真のグローバル市民になるのに必要な資質を育てます。

This course offers a project-based collaboration in which students from the University of Tokyo and Japanese language learners at Princeton University tackle various tasks.

The course is divided into three key segments: lectures, interactive international communication exercises, and final presentations. Although lecturers will be delivered in English, students are expected to use both English and Japanese when interacting with their counterparts. By engaging in cross-border and interdisciplinary interactions, the course aims to develop the linguistic and intercultural competencies that are crucial for global effectiveness. Moreover, the projects are designed to foster global citizenship by highlighting the importance of diversity and moving beyond superficial comparisons of nation-states.
