Ensembles at RHS

CHORALE - B3

Chorale is an auditioned choir comprised of mostly junior and senior level singers with a well-developed vocal production, a high level of sight-reading skills, and an outstanding academic record. Music will include mixed choir literature as well as treble and tenor/bass selections.  Membership may require sectional rehearsals held outside of a regular school day in the Spring semester.

TREBLE SELECT CHOIR - A4

Treble Select, also known as Varsity Treble, is an auditioned choir comprised of first-year students through senior treble voices with past singing experience, an above average level of sight-reading skill, and an exemplary academic record.  This group will also combine with the Chorale treble singers to perform as the Varsity Treble Chorus. The Varsity Treble Chorus will meet bi-weekly after school to prepare their combined literature.

RYAN SINGERS - A3

Ryan Singers is a non-varsity mixed choir comprised of first-year students through senior singers with past singing experience, an average level of sight-reading skill, and an exemplary academic record. Several outside-of-class rehearsals may be required to adequately prepare for performances in the spring semester.

CONCERT TREBLE CHOIR - A2

Concert Treble is comprised of first-year students or any soprano/alto singers who are experiencing membership in a high school choir for the first time. Several outside-of-class rehearsals may be required to adequately prepare for performances.

TENOR/BASS CHOIR - B2

The Tenor/Bass Choir is comprised of first-year students or any tenor/bass singers who are experiencing membership in a high school choir for the first time. This group sometimes combines with the other classes to perform as the Varsity Tenor/Bass Choir.  Several outside-of-class rehearsals may be required to adequately prepare for performances.
 

REVOLUTION - First Period
8:50 AM - 9:45 AM

Revolution is a Pop/Show Choir.  It is a small auditioned ensemble comprised of first-year students through senior singers that specialize in acapella, pop, musical theater, and some choreography.  This ensemble is active throughout the year with many performances in the community and school concerts.  Membership in Revolution requires an audition as well as membership in another choir offered at RHS (double blocked). Revolution may rehearse before or after school on an as-needed basis to adequately prepare for performances.
