Shultz 4th graders are selling spiritwear this November. They have two designs and are offering short sleeve, long sleeve, and sweatshirt options, perfect for the colder weather! When ordering, select “Pickup”, and your shirts will be delivered to your child’s classroom before the December holiday break. Proceeds help make their Austin field trip happen. If you have questions, you can email Ms. McPherson at kmcpherson2@dentonisd.org. Thank you for your support! Get your Shultz Elementary T-Shirts Here!
It has been wonderful seeing all of the families visiting our Mustangs for lunch this week! Just a reminder to please make sure that students are re-entering the cafeteria when classes are being lined up for dismissal, and that families for the next lunch period are able to find a seat at the visitor tables.
We are grateful for the strong partnership we share with you in supporting our students. Whether you are joining us for lunch, attending a meeting, or celebrating a special event, your presence is an important part of our school community.
As a reminder, we ask that all visitors dress in a way that reflects the positive example we strive to set for our children each day. Every staff member, parent, and adult family member plays an important role in modeling respectful and appropriate behavior—this includes how we present ourselves on campus.
Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming, family-friendly environment where our students see adults leading by example. Your cooperation and support make a lasting impact on our children.
We invite parents and extended family members to complete our Shultz Volunteer Interest Form at this link. The information you provide will be shared with Jocelyn Kendall, our new PTA volunteer coordinator, as well as our teachers and teams at Shultz. Ms. Kendall will communicate with volunteers throughout the year to share upcoming opportunities to support teachers, grade levels, and PTA events and planning. Please also complete this form if you are interested in being a Room Rep, classroom/school volunteer, or if you would like to help support our staff during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal.
Please remember to send your child with tennis shoes on days they have P.E. for Special Areas. Students not wearing the appropriate shoes will, unfortunately, not be able to participate in the activities due to safety reasons.
All students participate in P.E. 2 times a week. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you need to know when those days are. Thank you!
