1st nine weeks

Welcome to Social Studies and welcome to the geography of the United States! This is where we start our year! Then we shift our focus for Celebrate Freedom Week! Lastly, the nine weeks is finished by studying the colonial period! 

2nd nine weeks

The second nine weeks has two units that we focus on! First is the American Revolution and then we begin the unit on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights!

3rd nine weeks

During the third nine weeks we finish up the Constitution and Bill of Rights unit. Our next unit is Holocaust Remembrance which focuses on the good in humanity. Then we focus the rest of the time on Westward Expansion. There is a lot to cover but a very fun set of weeks!

4th nine weeks

Almost at the end! The fourth nine weeks we start with a brief unit on the Civil War! Then we focus on the 20th and 21st centuries for the remainder of the year!
