My name is Mackenzie Hampton and I am ecstatic that I get to be your students' teacher this year! I joined Adkins in the Winter of 2023 but have been present on campus as a guest teacher for almost three years. 

I came to Denton to attend the University of North Texas and decided that I never want to leave! Denton has brought me so much joy through its many forms of community! I graduated UNT class of 2023 with a degree in Elementary Education which led me to Adkins where I started my teaching journey! 

In my free time, I am either on the couch with my cats and a book or eating some yummy food in downtown Denton. I love to try new foods and am always looking for the best chips and queso!
