Mrs. Gaskill
Mrs. Gaskill is in her 16th year as Associate Director of Bands at McMath Middle School. She is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors degree in Music Education. She is also an alumna of the nearby Marcus High School in Flower Mound and has worked with bands such as McKinney North High School, Leander High School, and Leander Middle School and is an active adjudicator throughout North Texas.
While attending the University of Texas, Mrs. Gaskill played clarinet in various ensembles including the University of Texas Wind Symphony, Symphony Band, Longhorn Marching Band, and the Texas Basketball Band. She also was involved in organizations such as Tau Beta Sigma: National Band Honorary Sorority, Kappa Delta Pi: Educational Honor Society, and was vice-president of the University of Texas Student Music Educator Association. Mrs. Gaskill is an active member of Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) and Texas Jazz Educators Association (TJEA).
Mrs. Gaskill enjoys spending time off with her family. Mr. Gaskill teaches Law Enforcement & Homeland Security at Denton ISD's Lagrone Academy and is also a Military Police Sergeant First Class for the U.S. Army. They have two sons, Graham and Rowan. As a family, they enjoy traveling, listening to music, cheering on Texas Football and other sports, and playing with their dogs, Kya and Maddie!
