I am a native Texan and have lived all over this state from the Valley to the Panhandle. I graduated from Marcus High School in Flower Mound and received my undergraduate degree in Sociology and Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. I have a two graduate degrees from the University of North Texas in Education and Educational Technology. Over the last 23 years I have taught a variety of subjects, but my favorites by far are Design classes. Before Calhoun, I worked in Carrollton-Farmers Branch and Lewisville. During my teaching career, I've taught Biology, Intro-Physics and Chemistry, computer applications, robotics, and pre-engineering classes, as well as, serving as an Instructional Technology Specialist.
I am so glad to be teaching here at Calhoun (for my twelth year), in the same community where my family and I live. My wife and I have 2 children.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and watching movies, getting outside to taking a hike, or swim at the pool. I also love to travel with our RV and go camping with my family.
