Students are eligible to be a member of the 90% Club each week their overall average in ELAR is 90% or better in HAC, and meet approval from Mrs. Hall.
Club Benefits: Ear buds or headphones allowed!
Students may listen to music while working independently on an ELAR assignment.
When student is completely finished with ELAR assignment for the class day, students may work on assignments for another class, play chrome book games, watch YouTube (school appropriate) videos, take a rest. **as long as choice is not disturbing other students in class**
Read dessert book.
On a RARE OCCASION; club members will be allowed to be on their phone. Mrs. Hall will let members know when the occasion is occurring. If you ask, it will always be answered with a "no".
Club Prohibits:
89% or below overall average in ELAR on any school day.
Missing assignment(s) in ELAR.
Misbehavior in ELAR. *meaning overall behavior and treatment to peers and Mrs. Hall is not desirable while in ELAR. Misbehavior includes, but not excluded to, being tardy to class, talking while Mrs. Hall or a peer is addressing the class, arguing with Mrs. Hall, another adult in the classroom, or another peer in class*
Disclaimer: Mrs. Hall has the privilege to pull a student's membership at any time for any reason.
Please understand your overall average is NOT THE ONLY REQUIREMENT FOR MEMBERSHIP. If you cannot be nice, courteous of others, and behave in a classroom setting then you will not benefit from the club.
If issues continue, consequences will be issued instead of benefits.
