Please read this email entirely as there is a great deal of information.
Students must go individually to the following form 2026-27 Parking Application and to the following link Upload Student's Driver License to complete your parking permit request before picking up a permit. Parking permits are $30, cash or check, which will be collected when the permit is picked up.
Upload Student's Driver License
Parking permits will be issued if students meet the eligibility requirements.
All students who successfully submit online applications will be placed on the permit request list.
To be eligible for a Student Parking Permit you must meet the following requirements:
Student must be in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade.
Student must have a valid Driver's License and current vehicle insurance at the time of application. Learner's Permits will not be accepted.
Student may not have seat time, financial, or textbook obligations. You must stop by the bookkeeper’s desk in the front office to check outstanding obligations before proceeding to the AP secretaries to pay for and pick up your pass.
Students who meet all requirements will be assigned a parking permit, based on availability. This year, student parking permits will be stickers and must be affixed to the front passenger side window of the student’s vehicle. The tags will be checked regularly for security purposes. The tags do not specify a lot this year.
Students will be able to pick up parking permits July 28th- July 30th, 9:00am-11:30am, or 1:00pm-3:30pm in the AP office. Once school starts parking permits will only be sold during the students’ lunches.
Thank you,
GHS Administration
AFTER SCHOOL BEGINS, STUDENTS MAY PURCHASE A PARKING PASS DURING LUNCH ONLY.
Students will receive their Student ID from their A2 teacher.
All Student IDs that are not picked up will be delivered to the Counseling Center. Students will then need to stop by the Counseling Center to pick it up.

Denton ISD offers a variety of Programs of Study within 13 Career Clusters. These programs fall into endorsement areas for graduation. With so many options, students must plan carefully to enhance their skill portfolio. In addition to the state graduation core requirements, students are encouraged to select an endorsement to support their career goal. It is vital to understand that many opportunities are available through Career and Technical Education (CTE) that provide an "added value" beyond the high school diploma. To maximize student's learning and earn certifications, students are highly encouraged to follow their programs of study.
Please visit the Career and Technology Education website, which provides direct links with detailed information for each individual pathway.
For quick reference, please view this CTE Sequence Sheet.
