Albus Dumbledore
Beloved Headmaster of Hogwarts Passes at 115
Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, esteemed Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, passed away under tragic circumstances at the age of 115. A brilliant scholar, a fearless leader, and a staunch defender of the light, Dumbledore dedicated his life to the pursuit of knowledge, justice, and the protection of the wizarding world.
Born in Mould-on-the-Wold in 1881, Dumbledore displayed extraordinary magical talent from a young age. His contributions to magical scholarship were vast, including his groundbreaking work in alchemy alongside Nicolas Flamel and his mastery of wandlore. As a Transfiguration professor and later Headmaster, he nurtured generations of young witches and wizards, guiding them with wisdom, kindness, and unwavering faith in the power of love.
Dumbledore is perhaps best known for his leadership in the fight against the Dark Arts, playing a crucial role in the defeat of Gellert Grindelwald and later standing as the strongest opposition to Lord Voldemort. His leadership of the Order of the Phoenix was instrumental in resisting the forces of darkness.
Though brilliant, he was also deeply human—marked by personal struggles, tragic losses, and a burden of secrets carried in service to the greater good. Those who knew him will remember his twinkling blue eyes, his fondness for sherbet lemons, and his boundless belief in the potential of others.
He is survived by his beloved school, his students, and the legacy of his wisdom. His loss leaves an irreplaceable void, but his lessons and courage will continue to guide the wizarding world for generations to come.
In his own words: “Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and above all, those who live without love.”
A memorial service will be held at Hogwarts, where his legacy will be honored under the stars, in the place he called home.
