$50 Application fee-once
$219/ 3 credit hour course $292/ 4 credit hour course
ex. ENG 1013 (fall) = $219, ENG 1023 (spring) =$219
Free lunch students receives a scholarship for 6 credit hours per semester
Fall/Spring courses are embedded in the Denton High School schedule with DHS Teacher. No Textbook Expense
Summer courses are online with a TWU professor. Summer courses are dependent on TWU course rotation and availability at the time of registration. Textbook Expense
Step 1: Apply - New to TWU DC students

The $50 fee can be paid online at https://commerce.cashnet.com/twu.admssn
Students on the Federal free/reduced lunch program are eligible to receive an application fee waiver by completing the following form and submitting to the Counseling Office-B200
Deadline for ApplyTexas submission: May 10
Step 2: Permission Form - New and Returning TWU DC students each year
Return your Permission Form to klangat@dentonisd.org or drop off in counseling office
Please make sure to put TWU course number

Step 3: Transcripts
Request Transcript via SchooLinks- see directions here
Official DHS Transcripts will be sent by DHS DC Coordinator to TWU at the start/end of the semester that will include your qualifying GPA and test scores. Request must be made via SchooLinks
If the student does not meet eligibility through a TSIA2 waiver they can still do DC by taking the TSIA2 Test. Please visit TSIA2 section for assistance in where students can take the TSIA2 test.
Step 4: Registration
Part A: Create Pioneer Portal Account - New to TWU DC students
About 24-48 hours after students have applied, students will receive an email with their TWU ID at that time students can create their Pioneer Portal.
SAVE it somewhere safe because you will need it for registration
