UNIT 1: What Makes me Unique?
Students are currently working on writing a four-paragraph autobiography in Spanish. Using vocabulary learned in class — along with helpful cognates — they are sharing personal insights into their lives, including:
Their background and family
Daily routines and school life
Future college plans
Dream jobs and career goals
This project helps students connect language learning to real-life expression

UNIT 1: What Makes me Unique?
Greetings and Farewells
Students are learning how to start a conversation in Spanish by introducing themselves and sharing basic information. They practice talking about:
Their name, age, and birthday
Where they’re from and what they do
Their favorites in life — from food and classes to friends, sports, TV shows, teachers, and more!
Check them out as they begin building real-life communication skills — one conversation at a time. ¡Vamos!

SPANISH LANGUAGE IMMERSION
The Spanish Alphabet and phonetics
Nothing builds confidence in learning a new language like being able to use it without fear. That’s why, during the first weeks of school, our focus is on practicing and mastering Spanish pronunciation.
Through fun and interactive activities — like singing along to catchy songs, spelling out loud, and recording their own voices — students begin to feel comfortable using Spanish from day one. This foundation sets the stage for everything we’ll do throughout the year.
