About me
My name is Joshua Ward; I'm an artist and educator. I have lived, taught, and exhibited both internationally and domestically. This is my 15th year teaching art. In that time I have worked with students from diverse cultures and backgrounds, ranging in age from 1st grade all the way up to college undergraduates. I hold an MFA from the University of Houston where I studied Studio Art. In my own studio practice I am interested in re-contextualization and multi-media approaches to artmaking. I work in variety of materials and techniques including the pre-existing, sound, words, drawing, composition, sewing and more.
