The Advanced Placement Program® (AP) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. AP Exams are standardized exams designed to measure how well students have mastered the content and skills of a specific AP course.
Most colleges and universities accept AP exam scores as a means to earn college credit. To verify the minimum score needed at your intended college or university, check out the AP Credit Policy Search Page.
Scores: To find your AP scores, visit the Student Score Report website.
For the first visit, students will use their Denton ISD email address to create an account.
During the spring of each school-year students in Denton ISD are given the opportunity to take AP exams for any AP course in which they are currently enrolled.
Students must register at their campus in the fall to take any intended AP exams.
Exam fees and registration links are posted on the testing website for each high school. See the link below to find your high school.
College Board's Service for Students with Disabilities - College Board requires accommodations to be approved through their Service for Students with Disabilities (SSD) portal for all College Board exams. Students who receive an accommodation in school do not automatically qualify for the accommodation on the College Board Advanced Placement exam - even if they have an IEP or 504 plan. The request for accommodations must be approved by College Board's Service for Students with Disabilities. Please contact your campus testing coordinator for information regarding the process of requesting accommodations for Advanced Placement testing.
