The ACT measures skills that are most important for success in postsecondary education and that are acquired in secondary education. The ACT contains multiple-choice tests in four areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science. ACT's writing test is optional and will not affect your composite score.
ACT registration fee waiver: Students on free or reduced lunch need to contact their professional school counselor for an ACT waiver.
Students can designate four score recipients for free at the time of registration. Sending scores outside of registration will have a fee. If a student tested on an ACT fee waiver then scores are always free to send.
