Damas Unidas

Damas Unidas (estabilished in 2012) is one of the founding Girls Operating As Leaders teams from the Denton area and is the only girls team to have won three GOAL Cups. Our goal is to help build a family of leaders that strive to represent themselves and Calhoun within their family, school, and community. Practice is held after school on Tuesdays until 5:15 on the field. Players should come prepared to practice by bringing cleats, shin guards, long black socks, and shorts(no jeans or skirts). Any students that would like to join should come to a practice and talk to Coach Born(cborn@dentonisd.org) to receive more information. There will be a parent meeting in the fall to get students officially signed up for the season. Players will be provided a jersey for games but will need to have black socks and shorts for games.
