Denton ISD SSO (Single Sign On) Portal
Kindergarten Library Day and Time
Your child will visit our Adkins Learning Commons (Library) once a week to listen to an interactive story from our librarian, Mrs. McCord. After the story time, they will be able to check out one book to bring home for the week. Please remember to put it back in their backpack before their next library time so they can check out another book. Thanks!

Special Areas- PE, Art, Music
Every week your child will attend their special area classes from 12:55-1:45. They will have a set schedule M-Th, with a rotation on classes on Friday. *****Please plan to dress your kiddo in tennis shoes every Friday. Here are the schedules for your child's class:
Arel: Monday- Music, Tuesday- PE, Wednesday- Art, Thursday- PE, Friday Rotation
Audirsch: Monday- PE, Tuesday- Music, Wednesday- PE, Thursday- Art, Friday Rotation

Parents, please remember to have your child wear tennis shoes on PE days. Sandals, Crocs, or boots can be saved for days when they attend Music and Art. Also, if your daughter is wearing a dress to school, please have them wear shorts under their dress for safety. Thanks everyone!

Student SSO Portal
Every day, your child will be using technology in the classroom via Chromebooks. In class, the students are using QR codes to access their single sign on portal (SSO). If you would like your child to show you how they use this portal for their learning, then they can go to their portal at home! Use the link below to access the link. You will need their username ID number and the password 126.abcd to log on. Students access iReady Math and Reading, Lexia Core 5, Starfall, and Tumblebooks to name a few! Enjoy!
Daily Backpack Checklist!!
Kindergarten is a busy day of learning and fun! But sometimes, our Kinders are so busy that they forget to go potty! Don't we all? So, to help your kiddo be prepared for any accident or spills at lunchtime, please keep an extra change of SUMMER CLOTHES in a baggie in your child's backpack at all times. On another note, if you have any gently used undies or long pants that you would like to donate to our Nurse's office, anything is appreciated. Nurse Lujan (LOO-HAN) keeps extra clothes for any kiddo that may need them. Thank you!
