Please be on the lookout for an email from your child's teacher with a link to join Seesaw! This will an online portfolio that we will use all year long. It will host Newsletters, announcements, photos, videos, private messaging, and more! You can share this link with family members and they can see your kiddo's Journal Page and all the fun they are having in Kindergarten this year!

Student SSO Portal
Every day, your child will be using technology in the classroom via Chromebooks. In class, the students are using QR codes to access their single sign on portal (SSO). If you would like your child to show you how they use this portal for their learning, then they can go to their portal at home! Use the link below to access the link. You will need their username ID number and the password 126.abcd to log on. Students access Lexia Core 5, Imagine Math, Starfall, and Tumblebooks to name a few! Enjoy!
Daily Backpack Checklist!!
Kindergarten is a busy day of learning and fun! But sometimes, our Kinders are so busy that they forget to go potty! Don't we all? So, to help your kiddo be prepared for any accident or spills at lunchtime, please keep an extra change of SUMMER CLOTHES in a baggie in your child's backpack at all times. On another note, if you have any gently used undies or long pants that you would like to donate to our Nurse's office, anything is appreciated. Nurse Lujan (LOO-HAN) keeps extra clothes for any kiddo that may need them. Thank you!
Please have these thing in your backpack every day:

We will be working on these targets throughout the 9 weeks in our student workshops: large and small groups.
Math
Students will:
count objects to 5.
read, write and show whole numbers from 0-5 with and without objects.
compose and decompose numbers up to 5 with objects and pictures.
use appropriate problem solving processes to come to logical solutions

Reading
Students will :
recognize words are represented by print.
demonstrate one to one correspondence between spoken words and printed words.

Writing
Students will:
write their name.
write capital and lower-case letters, left to right, and top to bottom.
