We are so excited to see their growth in vocabulary and phonological awareness strategies.

The student will be responsible for identifying the place value of decimals, comparing and ordering decimals, and rounding decimals to the tenths and hundredths place. The student will represent the multiplication and division of decimals using objects and pictorial models, as well as, solving for the product and quotient of decimals to the hundredths place. The student will continue to work on simplifying expressions that now include decimal numbers. This unit will last 6 weeks.
Science: Your child is now beginning TEKS 5.7, “Forces and Motion." By the end, your child will be able to explain how equal and unequal forces acting on an object cause patterns of motion and transfer of energy. They will also be able to design a simple experimental investigation that tests the effect of force on an object in a system such as a car on a ramp or a balloon rocket on a string
Social Studies: Students are finishing their Colonization project!
