Welcome to 2nd Grade!!

A Little information about me....
This year will be my 6th year teaching! I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade. I have been working with elementary age students for almost 10 years now! I love having fun and goofing around. I also know when it is time to be serious. I love reading, running, and cooking. I absolutely LOVE lemons, plants and cats. I cannot WAIT to have SO MUCH FUN this year!
Birthdays - You may send any celebratory food such as store bought cupcakes or cookies. Sweet treat will be passed out during lunch time. (No homemade items.)
We can celebrate in class during snack time if the treat follows snack guidelines except a Capri sun is welcomed at that time. Birthday invitations cannot be passed out at school unless there is one for everyone in class. We don’t want any child to feel left out.
Water bottles - be sure to send one with your kiddo. Preferably one with a spout or straw to reduce spillage and distract the learning environment.
Please send a snack with your child each day. Our lunch is towards the end of the day, so we will have a designated snack time in the morning.
