Michael Lehmann - Associate Band Director

Michael Lehmann is a native of San Antonio, Texas, and has been a musician for nearly his entire life. Mr. Lehmann attended Texas State University before moving to the Houston area with his wife, Marissa, in 2018. While in college, Mr. Lehmann was a member of the Bluecoats in 2015 and 2016, and qualified for the semifinals of the National Trumpet Competition twice.  For the past six years, Mr. Lehmann has served as assistant band director and interim director of bands at La Porte High School, where his bands have consistently earned Superior ratings at UIL events and the marching band advanced to Area Finals four consecutive years for the first time since the early 1990's.

In his free time, Mr. Lehmann enjoys spending time with his wife, stargazing, playing video games, trying different foods, and has recently taken up pickleball. Mr. Lehmann is excited to join the staff at Davenport High School!
