What do you love about CHPI?
Getting to see CHPI grow over the past year has been so fulfilling! This organization is filled with students who are passionate and driven. From our very first Phillips State visit to now bringing higher education opportunities to the Greenville Detention Center, I am honored to be a part of it all!

What do you love about CHPI?
My favorite part about CHPI is its ability to make an impact in both the lives of incarcerated individuals through tutoring while also striving to improve the overall prison system through lobbying efforts.

Noah is a current Master's student in Social Science at Clemson. After graduation, he plans to use his education to help start and evaluate rehabilitation programs.
What do you love about CHPI?
After working with formerly incarcerated individuals in high school, I developed a burning desire to help this often neglected population. CHPI has been monumental to my career because it has given me valuable experience and allowed me to see the power of education firsthand.

Madeline is a sophomore from King George, VA. She is a sophomore majoring in History & Political Science.
What do you love about CHPI?
I decided to join CHPI after seeing their stand at Tiger Prowl in August 2022 and have since enjoyed the meaningful discussions and new information I have learned through the club. I am interested in further broadening my understanding of the current prison system and helping everyone work together to create a more humane, economical, and effective justice system.
