The Clemson Humanities Prison Initiative (CHPI) is dedicated to educating the Clemson community through a series of dialogues that connect students at Clemson, Phillips State Prison, and Greenville Detention Center. We work on and off-campus to raise awareness surrounding the lives and futures of the incarcerated and to create safe spaces for our community to investigate mass incarceration in the U.S.
