Easels will be set up in various rooms.
Attendees are invited to stop at posters that interest you, listen to the presenters discuss their research, and ask them questions.
You are free to come and go during their discussions.
Classrooms will host three sessions of presentations. At the end of each session attendees may choose to remain in that classroom to see the next presenter, or go to another classroom to listen to a different presentation.
These are presentations made by graduate students who have research projects in progress. You can expect these presentations to last 15 minutes, with 5 minutes at the end for questions. Research presentations are particularly helpful for first year students. They often showcase the beginning stages graduate student research.
These presentations are made by graduate students who are further along in their research projects. Attendees should be prepared to participate in a discussion following the presentation. Faculty will be present to help facilitate the discussions.
These presentations allow for practicing educators to offer tips, tricks, and resources for attendees to implement in their classrooms. Be prepared for an interactive presentation!
These sessions offer time to ask questions in different chat rooms about topics outside of research presentations.
You may come and go from any chat room as you like. Think of it as a way to have questions answered that you might not get to ask elsewhere.
