You have the option of creating a Practitioner Presentation, Research Presentation, and/or a Roundtable Presentation.
What's the difference?
Practitioner Presentations provide information, resources, tips, and tricks teachers can take back to their classroom and apply. What do you do in your classroom that other teachers can benefit from? In this presentation you will 30 minutes to present your material in whatever format works best for you. Participant interaction is a bonus!
Research Presentations provide information about research (in progress is fine). This commonly includes the research question, purpose, theoretical framework, methods, and possible future implications. Be prepared to present for 15 minutes and allow 5 minutes for questions.
Roundtable Presentations This type of presentation is shorter to allow time for the audience to participate in a discussion surrounding the research. Roundtables are intended for presentation of research projects that are not yet completed but are sufficiently far along to share their work and contribute to a substantive discussion of the work at its current stage. The roundtable sessions are designed for graduate students to present research underway and not work that is still being planned or has not yet commenced. Two faculty members will attend each roundtable presentation and have already read the roundtable papers to help facilitate conversation. Be prepared to present and hold a discussion in a 30 minute time frame.
Each presentation will be live streamed in addition to the in person presentation.
Each room will have a timekeeper.
