Through this analysis, we aim to evaluate URC's recruitment and selection processes, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and determine how these practices align with industry standards and employee expectations. Given the importance of strategic hiring in addressing challenges related to employee engagement, retention, and performance, this case study will provide actionable recommendations to enhance URC’s hiring strategies while supporting the principles of UN Sustainable Development Goal 8—Decent Work and Economic Growth.
