When can I sign up for A+?
2026 Seniors have until September 10th, 2025 to sign up. After this date, no more applications can be accepted.
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors can sign up at any point throughout the year.

What are the requirements?

Students will be audited during their time in the A+ program to address any requirement areas that a student is not meeting.

Program Benefits:
Free community college.
Covers the cost of many vocational and technical college tuition.
Is good for 4 years upon graduating from High School.
Builds skills that are vital to being successful in the workforce and post-high school education & training.
Students who graduate with A+ meet many requirements for additional scholarship opportunities.
In some instances, some money can be applied to cover part of tuition costs for State Universities / Colleges.

When you complete the A+ program, you have free access to participating public community college or vocational/technical school, or private two-year vocational/technical school for up to four years after graduation. Although A+ does not give you money in your pocket, it does cover tuition and book expenses which can save you thousands of dollars. You are not getting cash in your pocket per se, but thousands of dollars in education expenses.
What if I am going to Mizzou and they do not accept A+?

-You can dual enroll - Enrolling at Mizzou and at Moberly Area Community College (MACC).
-During the Fall and Spring semesters, you must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours at MACC and a minimum of 3 hours at Mizzou.
-You can take a minimum of 6 hours over the summer at MACC (if you want to).
-Many of your prerequisites, general ed courses, and others can be done virtually!
"A+ funding is available during the fall and spring semesters to eligible students enrolled in at least 12 credits per semester between both institutions, with a minimum of 9 credit hours at MACC. Students must enroll in a minimum of 6 hours at MACC to use A+ funding during the summer. A+ funding cannot be applied to Mizzou tuition and fees."
At Mizzou, the cost is $335.80 per credit hour. That is $3,022.20 a semester that A+ can cover, for free! In two years, that is a potential of $6,044.40 without summer classes or $10,074 with summer classes that you can have paid by the A+ program!
