What are AAQ's?

Alternative Academic Qualifications (AAQs) are a new type of qualification that are designed to help students move into higher education. They are part of a reform of post-16 qualifications in the UK that is being introduced with a focus on increasing the value of learning and strengthening pathways into careers. AAQs are scholarly in nature, designed to be studied alongside 'A' levels and are intended to help students progress to further or higher education.
