Human biology is a great course for those interested in understanding how humans function and how different diseases affect us and how they can be treated. 

You will develop the following transferable skills that can be used in both higher education and other life and work situations: 

• Researching topic areas and recording research sources, then using them to interpret findings and present evidence. 

• Problem solving when matching and analysing data. 

• Communicating effectively with individuals or groups. 

For this qualification, students must complete six units: 

• Two mandatory externally assessed units

Health and disease - 1 hour 15 minutes, 60 marks, Multiple choice questions, short answer and extended response
