Proficiency Certificates

Each semester students can earn certificates of proficiency by meeting the following criteria in each of their classes that semester:

Greater than 2.6 in each class - Proficient

Greater than 3 in each class - Proficient with Merit

Greater than 3.6 in each class - Proficient with Excellence

Graduation with Distinction

Each student through careful planning with their Advisor and Guidance counselor is encouraged to work toward Graduation with Distinction by meeting the criteria described below.

Learner Traits and Co-curricular Eligibility

BFA- Fairfax uses student progress on the Learner Traits to determine eligibility for Co-curricular activities.
