In the past, I have used Bloomz for family communication as well as volunteer and conference sign-ups; however, the district is implementing Parent Square this year to streamline communication between schools and families. More information to follow.
We are kicking off our Oliveira Fun Run. The Fun Run will be held on October 20th. Please visit Oliveira's Fun Run Page here or by clicking the page displayed to the left. Use the search feature at the top to find your child's page. Share with friends and family to raise money for our school and earn cool prizes! The money raised will be used towards purchasing an electronic marquee, field trips, assemblies, and other unique learning experiences.
A Note About Materials
Please note that most needed school supplies have already been purchased using classroom funds. Students will be provided with a pencil pouch containing pencils, erasers, colored pencils, glue, etc. on the first day of school. They may bring supplies from home for community use, but anything of personal/monetary value should be left at home to avoid hurt feelings if anything goes missing. If you would like to make donations to our classroom we will accept supplies and are especially grateful for monetary donations. You can donate online using My School Bucks.
Please note- in the past we have had some tricky situations with students losing their special items from home, so if you are at all concerned about a special item getting lost or damaged, please keep it at home. I have everything students may need in our classroom. Please don't worry about getting to the store if you haven't been able to yet, I've got it covered!
