About me
Hello! I am Ms. Holmes and I will be your (or your student's) science teacher this year at Thornton Middle School.
I grew up in Fremont, and graduated from Irvington High school. I received a Bachelors of Science in Geology with a minor in Astronomy from Sacramento State, so I like to say that I am a Rockstar. I also received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from San Jose State.
I love all things Disney and have worked for the company in the past. I also love to travel, although I still have a bunch of places on my bucket list.
Something interesting about me is that I have danced for 25 years and counting. I currently teach, assist, and take dance classes in Newark.
I know 2 languages (English and American Sign Language), and I am learning 2 more (Spanish and Scottish Gaelic). If you can teach me more languages, I am always willing to learn!
