• Cell phones and electronics must be off and away unless instructed.
Homework Review, Warm-up notes, guided practice, independent/group work and reflection.
Assigned each day. All work must be shown and corrected with a pen for each problem in order to receive full credit for the assignment. After the homework is corrected, students must post their homework on Google Classroom before midnight. Copy the original problem and show each step in the solution process clearly and nearly. Skip a line before you start on the next problem. This will help you avoid making mistakes and when you do make mistakes, identify the error more quickly.
Practice is assigned regularly. Complete work on time, show all work, correct mistakes, and keep organized records. After the homework is corrected in class, students must post their homework on Google Classroom before 11:59 pm. Show your work clearly and neatly.
Check Google Classroom/Aeries for assignments after absences.
Extra Credit: There will be no extra credit assignments. However, students will be given a bonus problem on the assessments.
Discipline:

There will be an assessment after covering 2 or 3 concepts. Each assessment will be announced. If students are not successful on the first attempt on an assessment, students will have another opportunity to make corrections on the exam for a better score. The highest score for the corrections will be 75%.
Assignments/Classwork/Homework: 40%
Assessments (Tests, Quizzes, Projects): 60%
Grades follow FUSD grading practices.
Cheating or plagiarism is not permitted. Students receiving assistance must produce their own work. Academic dishonesty may result in no credit and parent/administration notification.
