Description: In this course students of all levels will learn various painting techniques, tricks and art styles throughout the year. Students will learn to combine design with painting techniques. Beginning to advanced students will be introduced to techniques using acrylic, watercolor, and tempera painting. Students will explore various subject matter including images, landscape. They will create art inspired by art history, different cultures, and imaginative & personal ideas, rich with color. The fourth quarter will include a mural project where students plan and execute a new mural for the site per school year/per class.
