The Transition Department at Fremont Union High School District works within the Special Education Department supporting students and their transition goals as they move towards adulthood. The department provides services and resources that help the students identify, work towards, and achieve their career and post-secondary education aspirations. The Transition Department work closely with staff across the district to provide transition services and resources.

The Transition Department meet with students on a regular basis to discuss their transition goals and explore possible pathways.  We work hard to provide services that help prepare the students to be successful, and productive, members of society. The department coordinates field trips, develop lesson plans/workshops, invite guest speakers and tours of businesses. Our staff also goes out to the community and develops partnerships with local businesses to provide work experiences to the students they serve. 

The entire Transition Department works hard to provide meaningful experiences for the students throughout their time at FUHSD.
